Smart verification labs

There is a growing need for methodological tools, organizational formats and disciplined procedures to improve the implementation process of an innovative idea. In order to address this need, GEN TRIZ has developed three types of Smart Labs, which can be customized and quickly made operational for any type of technology:

– Concept Verification Lab – The focus is on failure anticipation, identification and solving secondary problems, and implementation of the developed concept.
– New Technology Development Lab – The focus is on identifying ways to develop a technology in the lab and then scaling it up for pilot testing, developing business case and spin-off it into a standalone New Venture (start-up).

– Functional Lab – This lab accumulates knowledge and skills from different industries that routinely deal with a specific function (for instance, functions “to move a liquid” or “mix ingredients” are common in many industries). It serves as an outsourced R&D for companies.

– There are several factors that differentiate GEN TRIZ Smart Labs from traditional R&D and Stage Gate innovation implementation process:

– Active application of TRIZ-based Innovation tools for effective anticipation and solving of secondary problems

– All steps of work – from problem statement to practical implementation – are conducted by one company, which makes it considerably easier to observe requirements of confidentiality. – The team consist of TRIZ experts, subject matter experts specialized in the initial area of engineering, and experts from Global Knowledge Network on as needed basis. The team is usually lead by TRIZ expert.

Implementation
GEN TRIZ-TA not only develops concepts but is also capable of building proof of principle prototypes, working prototypes, pre-production prototypes as well as full scale production prototype for the solutions developed.
